As a young girl, she repeatedly asked to play football but was initially told that it was "for boys." Her family tried swimming and basketball before she finally joined a football club at nine years old.

As a child, she had to travel far for practice early in the morning. Her goal was to become a professional footballer and being able to support her family.

Her parents sent her to football school at age six after she kept breaking things in the family patio while kicking a ball around.

Her journey into football began with futsal, , representing Boomerangs FS and winning the 11/12 Girls Player’s Player award in 2018/19.

She loved football from early years as a child. She even rejected a doll as a Christmas present from her dad, insisting instead on a football and some boots

She began playing football at the age of three in her hometown of Höllviken.
