Tobin Heath announces retirement after lengthy injury absence
USWNT legend Tobin Heath officially announced her retirement from professional football following a prolonged absence due to left knee injuries and multiple surgeries.
Over 181 caps, she scored 36 goals and provided 42 assists, winning two FIFA Women’s World Cups (2015, 2019), two Olympic golds (2008, 2012), and earning the 2016 U.S. Soccer Female Athlete of the Year honor .
