Elsa Helena Pelgander is a Swedish midfielder who plays for Djurgårdens IF in Sweden’s Damallsvenskan, and has represented Sweden at youth level including U23.
She grew up in Örebro in what she describes as “a real football family.”
Her dad is former footballer Jonas Pelgander, and her sister Emilia Pelgander also plays professionally.
She says she and her sister have “always competed in everything” while growing up.
Her dream club abroad is Barcelona. Chelsea and PSG also interest her.
She described her setup in Italy as “more like a hotel,” saying her clothes were washed, food was cooked (with “a lot of pasta”), and she got rides to and from the training centre.
