Emma Ilijoski

She only started playing football at around eight years old after watching her brother from the sidelines.

While playing in Sydney, she studied at the University of Sydney and enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Studies degree.

Ilijoski helped organise Australia's first A-Leagues Green Game, a Canberra United match against Wellington Phoenix focused on climate awareness and more sustainable matchdays.

Ilijoski's first senior football opportunity came with her hometown club Canberra United, where an injury to Kendall Fletcher opened the door for her A-League debut.

In July 2026, Ilijoski moved to Denmark after signing a two-year deal with Odense Q, making the switch from Aberdeen after her spell in Scotland.
