Marie Holmgaard

Marie Holmgaard grew up in Aarup, where she also started her football career before progressing through the Team Odense Q system.

Her connection with OB goes back to childhood, she has recalled getting pictures with OB players such as Rasmus Falk during visits to Nature Energy Park.

Holmgaard is studying Law at the University of Southern Denmark alongside her football career.

She came through the Odense Q academy and has remained with the club setup since breaking into senior football.

Her game is built around a high running workload, with OB describing her ability to make aggressive runs from the back as an important part of her play.
