Eshly Bakker is a Dutch forward who has represented the Netherlands at senior international level and has played club football in the Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden, winning the Dutch Eredivisie and multiple KNVB Women’s Cups.
She made her professional debut in the Eredivisie in 2010 at age 17 with ADO Den Haag.
With ADO Den Haag, she won the Dutch league and KNVB Women’s Cup double in the 2011-12 season at just 19 years old.
Bakker later joined Ajax in 2012 and spent two separate spells at the club, becoming one of the most experienced players in the team’s history
She won multiple domestic trophies during her career, including KNVB Women’s Cups with Ajax in 2014 and 2022.
Bakker also gained experience abroad when she joined German Frauen-Bundesliga club MSV Duisburg in 2017.
Bakker has represented the Netherlands at multiple youth levels including U15, U16, U17, and U19 before reaching the senior team.
She later moved abroad to Sweden with Linköping FC before returning to Dutch football.
