Maudy Stoop is a Dutch defender who has represented the Netherlands at youth international level and has played for VV Alkmaar and AZ Alkmaar.

Stoop began her football career at the amateur club SV Vrone before joining the professional structure of VV Alkmaar.
Stoop made her official debut for AZ Alkmaar on September 8, 2023, in the club’s first match in the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie.
She has received multiple call-ups to youth national teams of the Netherlands, including Oranje U16.
Stoop has stated that one of her career goals is to play for the Netherlands senior national team and eventually compete in England.
