Bo Op de Weegh is a Dutch midfielder who has represented the Netherlands at youth international level (U16 and U17) and has played professionally in the Netherlands with VV Alkmaar and AZ in the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie.
Bo Op de Weegh was born in Amsterdam but grew up in Alkmaar, a city closely connected to her current club AZ.
One of her favorite childhood memories is walking onto the pitch as a mascot with AZ player Ben Rienstra.
She started her youth career at several local clubs including VV Kolping Boys, CSV Jong Holland, RKVV DSS, and AFCβ34.
She joined AZ in June 2023 after the club relaunched its womenβs team in the Eredivisie.
In May 2025 she suffered a serious knee injury (ACL rupture) during a match against FC Twente.
Op de Weegh has represented the Netherlands at youth international levels including U15, U16, and U17 tournaments.
