  • Isabela Esquivias is a Mexican professional footballer. She is a prominent member of the Mexican youth national team system, having played a key role in the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Known for her speed and crossing ability, she moved to Guadalajara in early 2025 after establishing herself as a top young talent at her hometown club, Club LeΓ³n.

Did You Know?

Isabela originally began her football career playing as a goalkeeper, following in the footsteps of her father who was also a keeper.

She credits a long-term injury during her early teens as the turning point that led her to switch from being a goalkeeper to a field player.

Isabela made her professional debut in Liga MX Femenil at just 17 years old, quickly becoming one of the most consistent young defenders in the league.

One of her biggest technical secrets is that she is comfortable using both feet. While she is primarily a left-back, this versatility allows her to play on the right flank just as easily.
