Janneke Verheijen

She is a natural leader on the pitch, often describing her own playing style as a "director" who likes to organize the defense and set the lines for her teammates.

Janneke is a product of the prestigious PSV Eindhoven academy, where she spent several years and signed her first professional contract in 2022.

During the first half of the 2025/26 season, she became a permanent fixture in the Excelsior starting eleven, starting 13 consecutive league matches and playing 1,170 minutes.

Janneke has a long history with the Oranje youth teams, representing the Netherlands at the U15, U16, and U17 levels.
