Shi-jona Veranda Martina is a Dutch footballer who plays as a forward. She has represented the Netherlands at various youth international levels and has also been capped by Curaçao at the senior level.
Her mother was initially hesitant about her playing football because she viewed it as a "boys' sport," but her brother eventually won her over.
Her family was a house divided by Spanish football: her father and brother supported Real Madrid, while Shi-jona was a devoted fan of FC Barcelona.
She has a twin brother, Shi-jon Martina, who is also a professional footballer currently playing for Almere City FC.
She is eligible to play for both the Netherlands and Curaçao, and she made her senior debut for the Curaçao national team in late 2025 during the Concacaf W Qualifiers.
