Lobke Bloeme Loonen is a Dutch footballer who plays as a forward. She has represented the Netherlands at youth international level.
She moved to Gent at a young age after leaving PSV because she wanted minutes at the highest level rather than staying in the youth league.
She studies Psychology alongside football.
She comes from a sporty family, but not really a football family. Her mother and sisters played hockey, while her father used to be a cyclist.
She did not really grow up with women’s football on TV, so she never had one true football idol as a child.
Asked about role models, she highlighted Sarina Wiegman for both her coaching achievements and her public advocacy for women’s football and women in society.
Among current players, she likes to watch Alessia Russo.
