Marthe-Emilie Munsterman is a Dutch footballer who plays as a midfielder. She has represented the Netherlands at youth level and has also been capped by the senior national team.
She was born in Hengelo and started playing football at ATC ’65 before moving into FC Twente’s youth setup.
She has spent much of her life “fighting prejudices” linked to her surname, because she is the daughter of former FC Twente chairman Joop Munsterman. She framed that as part of her personal motivation and growth.
She openly admitted that the one part of football she would not miss after retirement is the running schedule players get during their holidays.
She has a very close friendship with Jill Roord and Victoria Pelova.
