Maj Schneider is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder for SC Freiburg in the Frauen-Bundesliga and the youth Germany national team.
Maj began playing football at SD Leioa’s girls' teams in Spain (2012–2017).
Her strenghts include strong tactical understanding, excellent technique, good vision — attributes noted by SC Freiburg director Birgit Bauer‑Schick.
She scored her first Bundesliga goal during 2-0 home win against FC Cologne in February 2025.
In the 9-1 win on 19 October 2022 in Krško, Slovenia, she scored her first international goal in the 71st minute to make it 7-1.
