Rikke Marie Madsen is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Women's Super League club Everton and the Denmark national team.

She started to play soccer when she was around five years old, but never dreamed of ever becoming a professional player.

She did a lot of other sports growing up, such as gymnastics or trampoline.

She grew up in a 'sporty' family, where multiple of her family members participated in sports at fairly high levels.

She stopped playing football at 20 due to an injury, got a job and only later got back to it by helping a local team but did not think it would turn professional.

In May 2024, she announced she was pregnant with her first child.

Her husband Martin is also a football player.

She has a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from University College of Northern Denmark.
