Playing for Denmark's senior team was her “biggest dream”, and she admitted there were butterflies in her stomach when the moment finally arrived.

She has used that connection to give something back locally. Vingum joined a Spar Nord initiative that presented sports bags to girls at Herfølge Boldklub, while sharing the simple message that football is played because it is fun.

Her local community work has stretched beyond football too. In 2026, she helped present a DKK 30,000 donation from Nykredit Spar Nord Køge Bugt to IF Frem Havkajak for kayaks, safety equipment and other gear designed to make the sport more accessible.
