Lauren Rose Kozal is an American footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. She has represented the United States at U23 level, earning two caps in 2023.
Kozal was a three-year letter winner in both soccer and basketball at Forest Hills Northern High School in Michigan.
During her time in Portland, Kozal shared a house with Gabby Provenzano and Mallie McKenzie, where off-day activities included puzzles, gardening and pickleball.
Grasshopper's own match report dubbed her "Penalty Queen" after she saved Servette's first two kicks in a 2025 playoff shootout that sent GC through to the semifinals.
Sunday nights were often family gym nights. They would spend hours at the gym across the street from their house playing two-on-two, PIG, lightning or three-point shooting contests.
She then pursued a master's degree in Sport Coaching, Leadership and Administration, maintaining a 3.85 GPA.
