Samantha Williams

Samantha created her own football blog, Soccer by Sam, where she wrote about training, football boots, college soccer and the women’s national team.

She founded Kids Kick Back, a nonprofit that collects used football boots and athletic shoes for people in need around the world.

Her interest in football began through watching matches with her father and attending her older brother’s games.

Williams studied Science, Technology and Society at Stanford, with academic interests that include robotics, product design and electrical engineering.

Her family, faith and female athletes working to advance women’s sport have been major influences in her life.
