Olivia Jo Wade-Katoa is an American professional football player who most recently played as a midfielder for Portland Thorns FC of the National Women’s Soccer League.
Drafted 23rd overall by Portland Thorns FC in the 2024 NWSL Draft, Olivia signed her first professional contract in March 2024.
She suffered a knee injury on October 1, 2024, during a CONCACAF W Champions Cup match, ending her rookie season prematurely.
Born into a basketball-oriented family, both of Olivia's parents played college basketball, and her brother, Jesse Wade, played basketball at Gonzaga and BYU.
She married former USC football player Tayler Katoa in June 2023.
On March 22, 2025, Olivia announced she was expecting her first child.
She began playing soccer at the age of three.
As a child, she secretly wrote “I want to be a professional soccer player” on her bedroom wall using invisible marker.
She has a degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University.
