Mikayla Shae Cluff, née Colohan, is a retired American professional football player who played as a midfielder.
She has three siblings.
Her cousin, Cloee Colohan, was also a BYU soccer star and an NWSL draft pick.
She grew up playing basketball and admitted she was better at it but chose soccer for more of a challenge.
She set Utah's high school assists record twice while helping her team win three straight state championships.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness with a Business minor from Brigham Young University.
She married professional baseball player Jackson Cluff, whom she met at BYU.
She is super outdoorsy and loves any activity she can do outside.
Being from Utah, she enjoys spending time in the mountains.
She and her husband love camping and bought a rooftop tent for road trips.
Golf is her favorite hobby, and she plays whenever she has time.
She and her husband, both professional athletes, turn everything into a competition, even watching TV.
Fishing is another activity she enjoys, and she and her husband do it often.
She has been named to training camps for both the US U-17 and U-23 teams.
In 2023, she ranked top 10 in the league for both tackles and tackles won.
Her nickname is 'Kayla'.
