Christen Annemarie Press is an American professional soccer player, entrepreneur, and sports journalist. She plays for Angel City FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the United States national team.
She won the prestigious Hermann Trophy in 2010 as the top college soccer player in the United States.
After tearing her ACL in 2022, Press made her return to play 781 days later and scored in her 100th NWSL regular season match.
She is a Global Ambassador and Board Member of Grassroot Soccer, which promotes adolescent health through sport.
She co-founded RE—INC, a gender-neutral lifestyle brand, alongside teammates Megan Rapinoe, Tobin Heath, and Meghan Klingenberg.
She and Tobin Heath co-host a podcast called The RE—CAP Show, focusing on sports, culture, and activism.
Since 2015, she has been in a relationship with fellow USWNT star and former Manchester United teammate Tobin Heath.
They have a dog named Bob.
