Rachel Louise Corsie is a Scottish retired footballer who used to play as a defender for Aston Villa in the Women’s Super League. She was also the captain of the Scotland national team.
She studied at Hazlehead Academy and then undertook a degree in accountancy and finance at Robert Gordon University.
She established her university's first women's football team.
She captained Scotland U19 team while studying at university.
She worked full-time with Ernst and Young as an accountant while also playing for Glasgow City.
She developed a love of football by playing in the local park with her dad and brother.
Rachel Corsie co-hosts a podcast called "Behind the Goals" where they offer unique take on the world of football and interview others involved in the women’s game.
She speaks up about LGBTQ+ topics, discrimination and other human rights issues.
Corsie is engaged to Scottish squash player Lisa Aitken.
