Zuzanna Izabela Witek is a Polish footballer who plays as a central midfielder. She has represented Poland at U15, U17, U19 and U20 level, captaining the national team across several youth age groups.

Did You Know?

Zuzanna started football at three because she wanted to follow her older brother Jakub — and years later, after he became a professional player himself, he was still helping her development by sending her extra drills to do at home.

Her 2017 Puchar Tymbarku final could have been written for a movie: Zuzanna scored in the opening minute, switched from outfield to goalkeeper for the shootout, saved a penalty and then converted her own kick to seal the national title.

After winning the Puchar Tymbarku as a child, Zuzanna fulfilled a dream by meeting Poland’s senior internationals, chatting and exchanging high-fives with them — then watched Robert Lewandowski score a hat-trick against Romania.

Football follows Zuzanna’s family even into Christmas — she and her brother would regularly turn holiday preparations into small matches at home, with their cousins joining in.

Her teenage dream included Barcelona, and she particularly followed fellow Polish star Ewa Pajor there — Spanish football appeals to Zuzanna because of its technical style.
