Shari Van Belle is a Belgian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Frauen-Bundesliga club SGS Essen and the Belgium national team.
She helped Belgium win their first-ever title, the 2022 Pinatar Cup.
She is in a relationship with Belgium teammate goalkeeper Nicky Evrard.
She has a younger sister, Lyndsey Van Belle, who is also a footballer, and the sisters have played against each other in matches.
She suffered an ACL injury in 2020.
She started playing football at the age of five with FC Schepdaal.
Until the age of 14, she played in boys’ teams.
She initially studied physical education and recreation but switched to accounting-taxation and later sports management distance learning to balance studies with professional football.
