She began her youth career at TuS Asterlagen and later joined the youth academy of FCR 2001 Duisburg.
She was part of the German U-17 team that won the 2008 UEFA European Championship and secured third place at the 2008 U-17 World Cup in New Zealand, although she did not feature in either tournament.
She also works as industrial sales representative.
