Stephanie Breitner is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder. She represented Germany at Under-16 and Under-17 level.
Stephanie’s interests go beyond football — in 2016, she completed the Montafon Mountainbike Marathon in Austria while representing TSG Hoffenheim.
During her years in Florence, she often used weekends without matches to travel around Italy and discover more of the country and its culture.
When she moved to Florence, she arrived without speaking Italian and made learning the language one of her main priorities alongside football.
She once exchanged the football pitch for a horse arena as part of a televised Hoffenheim team-building challenge, where the players worked with horses to test their confidence, communication and assertiveness.
If Stephanie had control of the pre-match playlist, Gala’s iconic football anthem “Freed from Desire” would be playing in the dressing room.
