Paloma showed her leadership personality from an early age — she usually brought the football to school, chose the teams during break time and admitted that she liked to boss everyone around a little.
She was the only girl not only in her school team but in the entire boys’ league. After matches, Paloma had to shower first while all of her teammates waited outside the changing room.
Summer beach football has been part of Paloma’s life since childhood. She regularly played in beach-soccer tournaments, and Roma’s beach training in Ostia later brought those memories back.
Paloma summed up her approach to life and football with the phrase “Who risks, wins,” reflecting the courage behind her moves away from Madrid and abroad.
Paloma describes her mother and brother as the two pillars of her life. Before accepting the move from Madrid to Tenerife, she discussed the decision with both of them and committed to the transfer only eleven days before the season began.
As an ambassador for Meraki Smile School, Paloma travelled to Antananarivo to support the children at their graduation and share with them the values that football had taught her.
