Goodison Park is to become home stadium of Everton Ladies from the next season
Everton Football Club has announced that Goodison Park will become the permanent home of Everton Women starting from the 2025/26 season. This move ensures the historic stadium remains integral to the club's legacy as the men's team transitions to the new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.
Phase one of the transition includes upgrades to the stadium to enhance the matchday experience and ensure adequate facilities are in place before the start of the season. These improvements aim to support the growth and competitiveness of Everton Women.
Everton Women's captain, Megan Finnigan, hailed the move as "a testament to where the women’s game is right now and, more importantly, where it is heading," highlighting the deep heritage and community ties of Goodison Park.
