Both teams will enter the match, which will be hosted by Emirates on Sunday, February 8, in good spirits. Manchester City defeated Chelsea 5-1 in the previous round, thanks in part to a hattrick by Kerolin. Arsenal, meanwhile, recently became world champions thanks to their victory over Corinthians in the Club Championship.

In their first match this season, Manchester City defeated the Gunners 3:2, which is Arsenal's only defeat this season. City started the match better, but Chloe Kelly equalized to make it 2:2 at the end of the match. What makes this interesting is that Chloe Kelly previously played for City, from where she left to join Arsenal. According to her, she was not happy at City. Just when it looked like the match would end in a draw, young summer signing Iman Beney decided the match in the final minutes.

However, some time has passed since then, and both teams have a lot to play for. It will be a surprise to see who will be in goal for Arsenal. Anneke Borbe was injured in the final minutes of the match against Corinthians, and her condition is still unknown. Regular number one Daphne van Domselaar should be fit, but she has not played since November. Newcomer Barbora Votíková is also in contention.

On the Manchester City side, superstar Mary Fowler, who returned from ACL injury in the match against Chelsea, is also available to play. Just like fan favorite Leah Williamson on Arsenal's side. Both coaches have a number of quality players at their disposal, and it is not only the fans who are hoping for a perfect show.

The match will start at 1 p.m. CET. You can watch it live on the official WSL YouTube channel.
