Hanna Wijk celebrated a title with Häcken. The young player, who has already earned caps for the national team, is now heading to London, signing a multi-year contract with the English Women’s Super League club.
- The 22-year-old defender has played for Häcken since 2021, and her last season included winning the Swedish Championship (SM-guld) with the club.
- At Tottenham she joins a growing contingent of Swedish players, including Amanda Nildén, Josefine Rybrink and Matilda Vinberg, who already play at the London club.
- Wijk expressed excitement about the move, stating it has “always been my dream” to play abroad in England and that she loves the league and has followed it closely.
