Andrea Norheim is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender for Frauen-Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
At just 18 years old, Andrea was part of the Olympique Lyon squad that won the UEFA Women’s Champions League, French league, and French cup in 2017.
She has won league titles in France, Sweden and Denmark.
She grew up in Bryne, Norway, the same hometown as Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
She played alongside Erling Haaland for five years in the youth teams at Bryne FK.
Although now a centre-back, Andrea originally started her football journey as a striker.
Her older brother, Sondre Norheim, is also a professional footballer and plays as a centre-back for Bryne FK in Norway's top league.
Alongside her professional football career, Andrea is studying for a bachelor’s degree in economics through a Norwegian distance learning university.
She is a dog mum to a small Pomeranian named Aria.
In her free time, Andrea enjoys crocheting and often creates her own tops and bags.
Her favorite post-match treat is a salmon bagel.
