Blandine Joly is a French goalkeeper who plays for RC Lens in the Arkema Première Ligue. She has represented France at youth levels.
She started playing football at five years old and has been a goalkeeper since the age of seven.
She won the French U19 championship with Montpellier in 2017 by beating Paris Saint-Germain.
She realized she wanted to become a professional footballer at just 15 while training at Montpellier’s elite development center.
She initially played only with boys and did not know girls’ detection programs existed until she was a teenager.
She has started training in sports marketing to prepare for life after her playing career.
