Elisabeth Tse is a Canadian footballer who plays as a defender for Première Ligue club Le Havre.
Tsé started playing football at the age of four in her hometown of Québec City.
Her earliest memories are watching her older brother play while her father coached, stating: "My brother was my role model. I followed him everywhere, I wanted to imitate him. It's thanks to him that I started playing."
Her birthplace is Québec City, Québec, Canada
She holds Canadian nationality and is also noted to have roots in Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), with her father, Darius, born there. Her mother is named Abi.
Growing up, favourites included Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid.
Outside of football she always admired basketball star Stephen Curry.
Apart from football, she also spent her time skating, swimming, athletics, tennis.
Elisabeth values the combination of academics and athletics, as this was the most important thing for her family, which led her to choose Southern Methodist University (SMU).
Elisabeth used to represent Canada on youth international level.
She speaks fluently French and English.
On her mixed heritage: "Between Canada and Côte d'Ivoire, my heart cannot choose." She noted a strong attachment to the Ivorian culture instilled by her parents and plans to travel there soon, as she's rarely had the chance.
Elisabeth loves to be active also off the pitch, trying out new activities.
