Éva Donasa Sumo is a versatile midfielder born in Bordeaux, France, with dual heritage (DR Congo & France), who plays for FC Nantes in France’s top women’s division and represents the DR Congo women’s national football team on the international scene.
She was part of Le Havre AC’s squad during their rise into the French top division, before later joining another promoted club in FC Nantes.
Born and trained in France and capped by France U19s, she later chose to represent DR Congo, her father’s homeland, saying she wanted to “learn new things and play for my country” and “know beautiful things” with the Léopards dames.
She has played for at least 11 French clubs from youth to senior level.
