Imane Saoud is a French-Moroccan international winger for FC Nantes in France’s women’s Première Ligue. She represented France at youth level before choosing Morocco's senior national team.
Born in Casablanca, Morocco, Saoud moved with her family to France at a young age.
She originally represented France at youth levels (U16, U17, U20) before switching allegiance to Morocco.
Her father worked in education (teaching Arabic) as part of a mission linked to the Fondation Hassan II, which is how the family relocated.
In addition to playing, she holds youth-coaching certifications in France (CFF1, CFF2, CFF3) — showing an interest in training and development of the game.
Named in Morocco’s squad for the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on home soil, she helped the team reach a historic first final and qualify for their first Women’s World Cup.
