Hanna Wijk is a Swedish footballer who plays as a defender. She has represented Sweden from U15 to senior level.
Her Häcken team-mates call her “Wijken,” and goalkeeper Jennifer Falk once declared her the early leader in the squad’s unofficial “best at the party” competition.
Before becoming a full-back, Hanna played as a striker and scored around 40 goals in Sweden’s fourth division.
Uno and Skip-Bo are among Hanna’s favourite games, and she confidently claims that nobody can beat her at cards.
Hanna discovered her first competitive senior Sweden call-up after stepping out of the shower and finding her phone filled with congratulatory messages.
Moving to Tottenham was the first time Hanna had lived far away from her family, making regular evening phone calls home an important part of settling into London.
