Matilda Nildén
Matilda Elsa Engla Nildén is a Swedish footballer who plays as a forward. She has represented Sweden at youth level from U16 to U23.

Football runs through three generations of the Nildén family: Matilda’s grandfather Jim, father David, sister Amanda and younger brother Charlie have all played the game professionally.
Matilda names her mother as her greatest female inspiration, while older sister Amanda has been her biggest football role model since childhood.
Matilda and Amanda grew up playing football together in their family garden and dreamed of one day sharing a professional pitch — a dream they fulfilled at Tottenham in 2026.
Matilda describes herself as restless and highly social, preferring dinners and board or card games with team-mates to spending too much time alone.
Moving to England was made easier by close friend Hanna Wijk, with the former BK Häcken team-mates living near Tottenham’s training ground and adapting to their new country together.
Her youth coach Sara helped shape her both as a footballer and as a person, inspiring Matilda to honour her through a Coca-Cola Sweden campaign celebrating local role models.
