Julia Pollak is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder for Frauen Bundesliga club 1. FC Nürnberg.
She started playing football at TSV 1877 Ebersberg, her hometown club, before moving to Bayern Munich’s youth academy in 2016.
At just 17, she made her senior debut for Bayern Munich II in the 2. Bundesliga.
She won the 2. Bundesliga title in her first senior season (2019/20) with Bayern Munich II.
She used to wear sport glasses on the pitch but now has special contact lenses made due to issues with tears.
She won the U17 European Championship, scoring her penalty in the final shootout against the Netherlands.
In 2025, she achieved another milestone by helping 1. FC Nürnberg win promotion to the Bundesliga.
Off the pitch, Julia studies Sports Science at the IST University of Management in Düsseldorf.
In late 2019, Julia suffered two torn ankle ligaments, which sidelined her for months.
She likes to ski and spend time outdoors on her days off.
