Kamilla Karlsen

Karlsen began playing football with Allerød FK before moving to Hillerød GI and later BSF.

As a youth player at BSF, her favourite position was the No. 6 role, and her coach described her as an intelligent player with a quick understanding of the game and strong tactical awareness.

In 2016, Karlsen joined William Kvist at Sandholmlejren to help distribute surplus Denmark national-team clothing to asylum seekers through a DBU and Red Cross initiative.

Karlsen graduated from school in the summer of 2020, and her first move abroad to FC Fleury 91 came after she had long dreamed of experiencing football in another country.

Her first spell at Brøndby included the club's 2018 Danish Cup triumph and the 2019 Danish championship.
