Julie Klaeboe

Klæboe's first training with Kolbotn came in 2016, and she had never watched a Toppserien match before joining the club; the first one she watched was a handheld YouTube recording of Trondheims-Ørn against Kolbotn without commentary or replays.

She grew up watching Norwegian men's football, with Eliteserien programmes such as Fotballkveld and FotballXtra part of her football upbringing.

She completed a five-year teacher-education programme at OsloMet and wrote her master's project about physical-education teachers, describing teaching as something she wanted to pursue after her football career.

She joined Brøndby from Røa ahead of the 2025 season after spending her entire senior career in Norway's top division before the move.

A cruciate-ligament injury suffered in April 2025 kept her out for more than a year, Brøndby documented her return to team training in 2026, and she returned to match action against AGF on June 13, 2026.
