Emma Braut Brunes is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender. She has represented Norway at U15, U16, U17, U19 and U23 level.

Emma Braut Brunes grew up in Bryne and played her childhood and youth football there before moving to Klepp in 2019.

Her former Bryne coach highlighted her competitive mentality and said that a strong training environment with good teammates was important in her development.

Brunes was already being selected for regional talent programmes as a teenager, including a 2018 landsdelssamling for Norway's young players.

A serious cruciate-ligament injury disrupted her first season after moving to Kolbotn, leaving her sidelined before she returned to action.

Brunes has been a regular part of Norway's U23 setup. The Norwegian federation selected her for U23 squads for matches against Italy, France, England and Portugal during 2024–25.
