Lisa Fjeldstad Naalsund is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Manchester United of the English Women's Super League and the Norway national team.
She began playing football at the age of 6 for local club Tertnes.
She also used to play handball until secondary school, and it helped her develop footwork and quick movements, which she now applies in football.
Before matches, she hypes herself up by listening to happy songs and music.
Although Lisa enjoys living in England, she misses Norway’s nature and spending time with her family back home.
Her favorite goal was a long-range strike from the edge of the box against Brighton in a cup match.
In 2019, she realized some aspects of her mental health were affecting her performance and began working with her coach on overcoming her shyness and insecurities. It's helped with her confidence both on and off the field.
She strongly believes that every football team should provide mental health support for its players, even if they don’t think they need it.
Outside of football she enjoys golf and would like to have more time to practice it.
She represented Norway at two U19 EUROs, in 2013 and 2014.
