Millie Turner is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Women's Super League club Manchester United and the England national team.
She made her England debut in 2024, after four years of waiting since receiving her first call-up in 2020. “I can’t even put into words. I’m so grateful - I’m just buzzing! - to make my debut,” Turner said at full-time.
She was diagnosed with carotid artery dissection in January 2022 - a tear in one of the main arteries between the heart and the brain. She made a comeback six months later.
She started playing football at Wilmslow Football Academy at the age of four or five with her brother.
She was the only girl there and stayed until she was 12 years old.
She eventually went to Manchester United Academy, having to move to Everton later as United didn't have a women's team.
Her younger brother, Jake, is also a professional footballer, who plays as a goalkeeper for EFL League Two club Gillingham.
She previously dated Rachel Daly.
Her go to pre-match meal is brown cheese on toast with jam and Weetabix.
She is scared of spiders and jellyfish.
