María Pilar León Cebrián, known as Mapi León, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Liga F club Barcelona and the Spain national team.
The RFEF Disciplinary Committee has officially confirmed that Barcelona player Mapi Leon has been handed a two match ban starting on Sunday 13th April when she was not in the squad for the match against Atletico Madrid. It is because of her actions towards Espanyol player Daniela Caracas.
According to Caras, Leon committed sexual harassment by touching her between the legs and making a transphobic comment during the game.Leon dismissed these accusations, defended herself by saying that she had touched her leg, not her private parts, and asked what her problem was.
