Melissa Kössler is a German footballer who plays as a forward for Denver Summit and the Germany national team.
In the summer of 2019, she moved to the United States to pursue a dual career, combining college studies with playing soccer for the UMass Minutewomen at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
She returned after just a year, scoring 11 goals in 16 games for the varsity athletic team.
Rejoined Turbine Potsdam and became the team's second top scorer in the 2021/22 season with 10 goals, just behind Selina Cersi, who is currently playing for TSG with Melissa.
During European Championships in the Czech Republic in 2017, in the penalty shoot-out in the final match against Spain, she put her team ahead 3–1, and won the European title. She was the tournament's top scorer with three goals.
