Ndeye Awa Diakhaté is a Senegalese footballer who plays as a midfielder for French Première Ligue club Les Marseillaises and the Senegal women's national team.

She played domestically in Senegal for Amazones Grand Yoff and Dakar Sacré-Cœur before moving to France.
At the international level, she scored Senegal’s first-ever goal in the finals of the CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
She was out of play for nine months in 2023-24 due to an ACL injury.
Just two years before joining Olympique de Marseille, she was still playing in Senegal without a professional contract.
She is actively involved in promoting football among young girls. Diakhaté advocates for women’s participation in sports and often speaks out about the importance of female representation in athletics.

Diakhaté is married: her husband is Cheikh Tahirou Fall, and in an interview he stated he views “seeing your wife represent our country, singing the national anthem, is an honor.”
She met her husband when he was part of the Senegal women’s national team’s technical staff as a coach.
She's of Muslim faith.
Her father was the imam of their neighborhood. She began playing on a field right in front of the mosque, often surrounded by boys — something that caused embarrassment for her father at first.
