Tess van Bentem is a Dutch midfielder who plays for Feyenoord in the Vrouwen Eredivisie. She has represented the Netherlands across multiple youth national teams.
She studied nutrition and dietetics while playing.
She said she enjoys winning the ball so much that being called a “ball winner” feels like a compliment to her.
Her dad was a coach, and he once took her to a training at SVM Marknesse as a little kid—she says she was “sold” immediately and wanted to keep playing.
She spent nearly a month in Costa Rica at the 2022 U20 World Cup, describing long travel with a stopover in Panama, police escorts to training, and fans asking for photos at a mall next to the team hotel.
