Mercury13 has acquired a majority stake in Bristol City Women.

Mercury13, a women's football-focused multi-club ownership group, has acquired a majority stake in Bristol City Women, a second-tier English club.

• The Lansdown family, who have owned Bristol City for over three decades, will retain a minority shareholding.
• The club will continue to play at Ashton Gate Stadium and train at the Robins High Performance Centre.
• Mercury13 aims to invest $100 million in women's football clubs across Europe and Latin America.
• The group previously acquired Italy's Como Women in 2024.
• The immediate goal is to secure promotion to the Barclays Women's Super League.
