Rosa Kafaji joined Arsenal last season from Swedish club Häcken with high expectations. However, she did not get the playing time she had hoped for during the season—she did not make the starting lineup once and also struggled with injuries. She will therefore spend the following season in Brighton, where she should gain the valuable experience she needs.
- Kafaji joined Arsenal in summer 2024 as only 19 years old after three years with Swedish club Häcken, making 19 appearances across all competitions and helping the Gunners win the Women’s Champions League. She was even named player of the match in the game against West Ham on October 22.
- Began her career at AIK Stockholm, debuting in 2019 at age 15, before moving to Häcken in 2022. Made her senior Sweden debut in 2023 and has earned 10 caps, scoring two goals.
- She will likely be reunited with her teammate Michelle Agyemang, who played on loan at Brighton last season and is expected to remain on loan for the young player.
