The final stage of the Women’s Champions League qualifiers is here. Who will make it through to the group stage?
- In the third qualifying round first legs, several clubs secured leads ahead of the second legs, including Brann (who beat Manchester United), Real Madrid, Sporting CP, St. Pölten, Twente, Vålerenga, and OH Leuven.
- The deciding second legs take place Thursday 18 September; the winners will fill the nine remaining places in the new 18-club league phase, whose draw is set for Friday 19 September at 12:00 CET. Disney+ is going to broadcast the draw.
- Clubs defeated in this round will enter the 2025/26 UEFA Women’s Europa Cup at the second qualifying round.
- Brann beat Manchester United 1-0 in front of a record crowd (~16,019) for a women’s match in Norway and for a club qualifying match in UEFA women’s competition; the goal came from an Ingrid Stenevik header from a free-kick by Signe Gaupset.
- Other tight or dramatic first-leg results: Häcken drew 1-1 at home vs Atlético de Madrid with a late equaliser; Paris FC held a goalless draw 0-0 with Austria Wien.
- Matches in league phase run from 7-8 October (Matchday 1) through to 17 December (Matchday 6).
